Machungwa Kwa Mjamzito:
Machungwa (oranges) ni matunda yenye manufaa kwa mama mjamzito kwa sababu yanatoa virutubisho muhimu ambavyo vinaweza kusaidia katika afya yake na maendeleo ya mtoto aliye tumboni.

Faida Za Kula Machungwa Wakati Wa Ujauzito:
Zifuatazo ni faida za kula machungwa wakati wa ujauzito ambazo ni pamoja na:
1) Vitamini C.
Machungwa ni chanzo kizuri cha vitamini C. Vitamini C ina jukumu muhimu katika kuimarisha mfumo wa kinga, kupunguza hatari ya maambukizi, na kusaidia katika uponyaji wa tishu za mwili.
Kwa kuwa mfumo wa kinga wa mama mjamzito unakuwa dhaifu kidogo, vitamini C inaweza kusaidia kumlinda dhidi ya magonjwa.
2) Asidi Ya Folate (Folic Acid).
Machungwa pia ni chanzo cha asidi ya folate, ambayo ni muhimu katika ukuaji wa mtoto na inasaidia kuzuia kasoro za kuzaliwa, kama vile kasoro kwenye uti wa mgongo (spina bifida).
3) Vitamini B.
Mbali na asidi ya folate, machungwa pia hutoa vitamini B, kama vile B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), na B6 (pyridoxine), ambazo zina jukumu katika kusaidia mfumo wa neva na kimetaboliki ya nishati.
4) Nyuzi Nyuzi (Dietary Fibers).
Machungwa ni chanzo kizuri cha nyuzi nyuzi za lishe, ambazo zinaweza kusaidia katika kuzuia matatizo ya kawaida ya utumbo kama vile kufunga choo wakati wa ujauzito.
5) Kupunguza Kichefuchefu.
Baadhi ya wanawake wajawazito wanakabiliana na kichefuchefu (nausea) hasa wakati wa asubuhi. Kula machungwa au kunywa juisi ya machungwa kunaweza kusaidia kupunguza hisia za kichefuchefu.
6) Kuongeza Nishati.
Machungwa yanaweza kusaidia kutoa nishati kwa mama mjamzito kutokana na kiwango chake cha sukari asilia na virutubisho.
